The M Cliff, named for its distinctive shape, offers about fifty varied routes ranging from 4c to 6c, the vast majority of which face due west. Owned by the Montreuil City Council, this sector underwent a major renovation in 2021–22 with new, modern, and athletic equipment, but it remains classified as an adventure climbing area—so climbers should exercise caution! Please note: The crag is closed between March and June to avoid disturbing the peregrine falcon that nests there each year. Please respect this restriction; failure to do so could result in the permanent loss of this climbing area. Our ethical guide is brought to you by the FFME Eure Regional Committee in collaboration with Pascal Bocianowski, lead route setter for the cliffs along the Seine.
