La Cariée

A small cliff of chalk and flint, offering a breathtaking view of the Seine and the two nearby lakes. With its easy access and practicality, La Cariée is the discovery sector par excellence! Owned by the Conservatoire des Espaces Naturels de Normandie, the sector was re-equipped in 2024 by the SNE Committee of the CT FFME de l'Eure. A handrail has been installed to secure access to the north face, and there are points at the top of the cliff for attaching bolts. Climbing above the cave is strictly forbidden.
